<description>Like you, I was excited about the concept of receiving daily mobile alerts from the History Channel's "This Day in History", and I subscribed. For about 2 months I did receive the trivia (though not always "daily". Sometimes a day or two passed without receiving an alert). Therefore, I was not particularly concerned when suddenly, about 2 months ago, I did not receive my usual trivia alert for one, then 2, then 3 days...but DID become suspicious when an entire week passed without an alert. After 3 weeks of this, I tried to subscribe again, and it DID accept my subscription, but since then, I have never received an alert. I tried to contact them about the issue, only to find that their "contact form" is a only a pull-down menu of PREVIOUSLY asked questions, and naturally, they have NO selection for Mobile Alerts of any kind. Therefore, their "feedback/contact us" form is useless.

Okay, so why am I so disappointed to lose something that I only had going for about 6-7 weeks? Because I enjoyed it!! I looked forward to it, and my husband loved to hear me tell me the trivia of the day, and he is disappointed as well. So, all around, I guess we kind of feel rather "gypped". :(</description>
