- Alex at Lost in Colonisation has a nice perspective on why one might want an Apple TV. I agree with his reasons – even though I have no HD TV. A pricetag of $299 is worth the convenience of streaming my data without having to set up a rigmarole of cords. I loathe cords. I unplugged my Nintendo Wii 2 weeks ago to bring it to a friend’s house and I have not used it since. Why? I haven’t had time to deal with replugging the cords, even though it would take only 5-10 minutes. This is how much I hate cords. Good night, and good riddance, cords.
