The main problem is the tension in the stranded part but it worked out OK. I have some more pics up — the sleeve is blocking right now. Then I will cut it down the sides and put the zipper on. (The zipper’s on three sides so I can unzip it all the way if I want, and then leave the Macbook resting on it while I use it, so the case doesn’t get scratched on the work surface.)
