- BBC reports that workers distracted by email and phone calls suffer a fall in IQ. I read a blog post years ago of a writer comparing his writing process from 5 years ago to the present. It moreso discusses how we’re so busy because we’re doing so much more and getting so much less done because of the technological distractions all around us.
- I love the beatboxing Blake Lewis on American Idol. This beatboxing flautist knocks his socks off, though. Fantastic rendition of Super Mario Brothers theme.
- Granola bars have always been this mythically amazing mysterious food to me. How does all of that tasty goodness stick together? Super-glue? Magnetism? Magic? Ask no more, as the cooking blog Help! I Have a Fire In My Kitchen! has posted a recipe for crunchy granola bars.
